A Canberra sunset wedding in autumn is absolutely spectacular. Combine that with a backyard wedding with just the immediate family brings intimate backyard weddings to a whole new level.
Today’s wedding of Tegan and David was just that. Their wedding took place in Canberra as the Autumn sun was setting for spectacular wedding photos.
As we waited for the celebrant to arrive it gave me the opportunity to take some photos of Tegan and David with their young family.
The ceremony itself was quick, It was quicker than quick in fact it was the fastest ceremony I’ve ever photographed. I know that I’ve mentioned that in the past.
But as one of the guests put it. “The ceremony only the important bits in it “ So their 7 minutes ceremony was straight to the point.
With only 12 people present it was intimate and sweet.
Bride and groom portraits took up the majority of their photography coverage. The timing was perfect with an 1 hour to take advantage of the slow setting sun.
With every minute the sun was getting closer to the horizon.
The wedding guests and bridal party walked along a secluded nature reserve. Which took them to the top of a hillside were we did their group photos and photos of the bridal party.
