Danny and David’s intimate Goolabri wedding took place in the town of Sutton during winter. A short 30 minute drive from Canberra.
They chose to have a small wedding but that did not take away from how special their day was.
Since they only wanted photography coverage of the ceremony, family photos and some photos of the bridal party it was a quick 2 hour coverage.
Ceremony – Garden room
The ceremony took place in the garden room of the Goolabri estate. The garden room was interesting space because it had rustic elements combined with modern fittings.
Danielle arrived with her father and her maid of honour.
Danielle looking stunning in her dress and accompanying stole, very appropriate for this winter wedding.
David, standing with his best man out front, was absolutely beaming when he saw Danielle enter the room.
The ceremony itself was very sweet and simple and included a poem they both read out, and personalised vowels.
Bridal party photos – Goolabri golf course
Following the ceremony, once the guests congratulated the bride and groom. We moved outside on the lawn area to take the family photos before moving on to photos of just the bridal party.
The very chilly weather did not take away from such a special day even though it was only 10 degrees I really loved how much this couple were giddy with each other.
After the ceremony you could tell that they both were extremely relaxed and they just had smiles from ear to ear.
For the bridal party photos I found a little Valley within the Goolabri golf course, just a short walk down the hill from the ceremony. It was here that it had the best light and showed off the beautiful Goolabri bushland.
There was one best man and one bridesmaid to round out the bridal party.
They did not want to be posed for their photos. so I kept the conversation light and threw my best dad jokes at them to distract and get natural smiles and laughs from them.
To finish off their photography coverage, we worked our way back up the hill to the lawn area. The best man and maid of honour played Totem tennis. While the bride and groom had a few more intimate photos of the two of them.
